Welcome Amy DeDeo, RISE’s New Head of Manufacturing
We are excited to welcome Amy DeDeo as our new Head of Manufacturing! Amy joins as we transition from early prototyping to real-world commercialization, taking the lead on productizing our cylinders to ensure scalable production while maintaining the customization our customers expect.
Amy brings a wealth of experience from companies including iRobot, Owl Labs, Raytheon, and Upstart Power, spanning systems engineering, program management, manufacturing, and supply chain leadership. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Program Management at Upstart Power, leading a major transition to in-house production in under 90 days, which unlocked certifications and accelerated time to market.
Her prior work includes scaling the Meeting Owl at Owl Labs from prototype to mass production, generating $6 million in revenue, and holding technical leadership roles at iRobot and Raytheon, where she focused on optimizing product-market fit and driving customer-focused outcomes.
Amy holds an MS in Manufacturing Engineering and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
Her expertise strengthens RISE’s ability to scale Beltdraulic technology across the $600 billion heavy machinery industry and build the zero-emission equipment the future demands. We’re thrilled to have her on board!
RISE Joins the Top 1% of Reg CF
RISE has reached another major milestone: $3.5 million raised from over 1,600 investors on Wefunder, supporting our mission to replace hydraulics with zero-emission heavy machinery.
Thanks to this incredible backing, RISE is now in the TOP 1% of all Regulation Crowdfunding campaigns ever, across all platforms nationwide. KingsCrowd currently ranks us #89 out of more than 9,100 Reg CF raises a clear signal of confidence in our technology and our vision for the next generation of faster, cleaner, smarter machines.
When we launched this round, we couldn’t have imagined the momentum we’d see. The round has expanded three times due to strong investor demand, and we’re now nearly fully funded again.
D3VC Backs RISE with Data-Driven Investment
We’re thrilled to share that D3VC (Data Driven Digital Venture Capital) has invested in RISE Robotics!
Led by Managing Partner Sherwood “Woodie” Neiss, D3VC leverages AI and data science to identify startups with breakout potential. Their proprietary model, which tracks over 125 signals across 8,000+ companies, flagged RISE as a standout investment, an exciting validation of our technology and vision.
In Woodie’s words: “After analyzing over 150 data points across more than 10,000 crowdfunding offerings through our AI-driven algorithm, RISE Robotics emerged as a standout investment…”
We’re grateful for the support of D3VC alongside other institutional investors like Techstars and The Engine, helping us accelerate the adoption of zero-emission, high-performance heavy machinery.
Watch RISE Pitch at Kingscrowd’s Crowdfunding Week
We have been invited to pitch at Kingscrowd’s Investment Crowdfunding Week, one of the premier showcases for standout companies raising capital in the online private markets.
Our 5-minute pitch will be followed by a rapid-fire Q&A with Kingscrowd CEO Chris Lustrino and Alumni Ventures’ Andy Ervin. We’ll highlight how RISE is replacing outdated, inefficient systems in industrial equipment, backed by real commercial traction and growing demand.
RISE has been selected as one of just 10 companies to compete in the Reno Startup Week Startup World Cup Pitch Competition.
On October 1st, our team will take the stage at the Whitney Peak Cargo Concert Hall to pitch for a chance to advance to the Startup World Cup Finals in San Francisco, where $1M in investment is on the line.
This recognition places RISE among an elite group of innovators working on technologies with the potential to reshape industries.

Beltdraulic CLD Draws Attention at GSE Expo
This month, in Las Vegas, RISE showcased the Beltdraulic Common Lifting Device (CLD) at the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Expo, generating strong interest from both commercial and military attendees.
We met with Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) teams from across the U.S., the Air Force units responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft and ground support equipment. Their feedback will help make CLD even more reliable and easier to maintain.
Already in use today, RISE has delivered $1.5 million worth of units to the U.S. Air Force, and the CLD is commercially available as a dual-use solution.
Showcasing Beltdraulic at JMWWR
Last week, RISE demonstrated our 2-ton Beltdraulic cylinder at JMWWR, briefing government and industry leaders on our dual-use heavy machinery technology. Staying aligned with the event’s theme, we showcased how Beltdraulic is powering the development of a state-of-the-art, fluid-free aerial stores lift truck for the U.S. Air Force.
The message resonated: defense users continue to face reliability challenges with hydraulic systems, which add significant maintenance and operational burdens. During the show, we heard about new applications where Beltdraulic could eliminate those drawbacks and deliver the reliability modern defense operations demand.
RISE is working closely with these users to explore how Beltdraulic can transform the machines they rely on.
RISE at Deep Tech Forum NYC
RISE took the stage at the Deep Tech Forum, connecting with investors, innovators, and industry leaders shaping the future of robotics, AI, and advanced manufacturing.
This event helped us expand our network beyond Boston into New York, building the relationships that will power our next funding round.
Hosted by Monozukuri Ventures and New York Robotics, the forum showcased cutting-edge startups and fostered collaboration across the global deep tech ecosystem.
RISE is proud to be part of these conversations, driving the next generation of robotics innovation!
