We're halfway through 2022 and RISE™ has a lot to be thankful for over the last six months. We're fortunate to celebrate new partnerships, the scaling of RISE™Technology, the growth of our team, and the limitless possibilities that lie ahead. We have a lot of great news to share and hope you will celebrate along with us as we continue to develop RISE™Technology. 

Danfoss Power Solutions and RISE™Robotics Collaborate on a New Innovation That Will Accelerate the Electrification of Heavy Machinery

We are delighted to announce that we are collaborating with Danfoss Power Solutions to electrify heavy machinery. We have signed an agreement to jointly validate RISE™Technology’s potential to deliver low-carbon options for industrial equipment customers.

“RISE™’s unwavering dedication to commercializing scalable solutions enabled by advanced technology is the same pioneering spirit that has fueled Danfoss’ journey from startup to industry leader,” said Danfoss Power Solutions President Eric Alström. “We look forward to working toward these goals together.”

This collaboration is a cornerstone of RISE™s’ mission to work with a leading global manufacturer, Danfoss, to take the bold steps necessary to battle climate change. This effort will help customers around the world decarbonize.

C.A. Goudey & Associates in Collaboration with RISE™Robotics Receives Department of Energy Small Business Research and Development Award

U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm announced that C.A. Goudey & Associates in collaboration with RISE™Robotics will receive one of 259 Department of Energy grants totaling $53 Million to 210 small businesses in 38 states.

C.A. Goudey & Associates of Newburyport, MA will receive $200,000 in Phase I funding aimed at extracting wave energy from its Variable Displacement Spar Buoy (VDSB). Recently developed with DOE ARPA-E support, the VDSB is a key component of Goudey’s innovative seaweed farming system.

This collaboration aims to evaluate and document the ability of RISE™Cylinder to efficiently capture wave energy to power the system.

RISE™Robotics Awarded $1.25 Million Contract to Design Ultra-Light Loading Machine for the United States Air Force

With this SBIR Phase II Award, RISE™Robotics will design an Ultra-Light 10K Loader enabled by RISE™Technology. The loader concept design will be capable of swift and safe manipulation of standard 463L cargo pallets in austere landing fields and will be a fraction of the weight of the legacy diesel-over-hydraulic 10K AT Forklift.
